At this event, speakers and panelists from educational institutions, government entities, and the food industry shared best practices, tips and tools to help you better attract, develop, and retain talent in your business.

2019 Keynote Speaker sponsored by Eastern Alliance

This year's keynote speaker was Michele Siekerka, President & CEO of the New Jersey Business & Industry Association. Prior to assuming the helm of NJBIA, Siekerka served in state government in the NJ Department of Environmental Protection in roles that included Assistant Commissioner and then Deputy Commissioner. Michele shared insight into key issues facing the New Jersey food processing industry.

The NJFPA presented its inaugural leadership awards at the luncheon.  Mazars USA joined us in honoring Goya Foods at the conference luncheon. Mazars presented the award to Miguel Lugo, Vice President for Goya, for their extensive work with community programs including paid summer internships in Jersey City, arts and culture events, and many food based charities.
